Raised surrounded by picturesque nature, Iryna always liked to observe and be inspired by it while drawing. In high school, she learned about the folk painting of Easter eggs "Pysanka". She was very touched by the ancient tradition of putting a sacred meaning into each self-painted Easter egg, the magic of candle fire and the interweaving of patterns.

From that time, on the eve of every Easter, wherever she was, she created new patterns on Pysanka.

She moved to Kyiv where she received a Master's Degree in Design. After that, she studied digital illustration, art collage, embroidery and sewing.

Along with studying modern techniques, she also continues to improve herself in various types of Ukrainian Folk Art. One of them is a painting of Easter Eggs "Pysanka".

Even after moving to Canada, she not only continues to draw modern illustrations, but also popularizes Ukrainian folk art.
