Ukrainian Community of Fredericton organizes a fundraiser to support people in Ukraine

Fredericton, NB, April 10th, 2022 - Ukrainian Community of Fredericton will be hosting a fundraising event at Journey Church Fredericton to raise funds for humanitarian aid to help people in Ukrainian.

During the event, guests will have a chance to get a taste of Ukrainian food, buy local crafts, enjoy craft activities, Motanka workshop, kids face painting and participate in a draw to win a gift basket.

Stand Together - a Fundraiser for Ukraine will be held at Journey Church Fredericton, 131 Duncan Ln., on April 10th, 2022 from 12 pm till 5 pm.

All proceeds from the fundraiser will go towards humanitarian aid to help Ukrainians.

Ukrainian Community of Fredericton is a group of volunteers that immigrated from Ukraine. The goals of the community are supporting Ukraine and Ukrainians during and after the war with Russia, providing a platform for coordinating the activities of the growing Ukrainian community in Fredericton, and promoting a better understanding of Ukraine and Ukrainians among the local community in the Fredericton region. Very soon the community will introduce an official not-for-profit organization - Ukrainian Association Volya. Same values, the same group of people, stronger together. “Volya” is a Ukrainian word for Freedom. This word carries such a deep meaning in these tough times, and not only for Ukrainians.
